Progressive product introduction method facilitating visitors’ thorough understanding of the 5 Series PHEV
Closed-Venue Test Drive: With scenic Xianghu as backdrop, BMW coaches divided a lakeside road into an Auto eDrive experience route and Max eDrive experience route. The test drive was conducted according to the theory-practice-conclusion model, allowing participants to first fully understand the characteristics of the 530Le and then operate the model.
Scenic Road Test Drive:
Route designed to highlight the 5 Series PHEV’s salient characteristics, combining urban roads and expressways to best exhibit the car’s performance
Length of test-drive route set to about 90 km, close to the vehicle’s theoretical autonomy in pure electrical drive mode, to fully showcase the concept of high-performance eco-friendly driving
Transfer point to ensure each reporter experiences the pleasure of both city street and expressway driving, offering a 360-degree experience of the BMW 5 Series PHEV
